मैथिली भाषा की पहली वेब सीरीज नून रोटी जल्द ही दर्शकों के बीच रिलीज होगी. फिल्म का दर्शक बेसब्री से इंतजार कर रहे है. यह वेब सीरीज मिथिला कहे जाने वाले उत्तर बिहार में बेरोजगारी और पलायन की समस्या पर आधारित है. इस क्षेत्र के युवा समाधान खोजने की कोशिश कर रहे हैं और वे किसी तरह स्टार्ट अप के कठिन रास्तों पर खुद को झोंक देते हैं. नून रोटी मैथिली लोगों और समाज के क्राउड फंडिंग सपोर्ट द्वारा बनाई गई पहली मैथिली वेब सीरीज है. वेब सीरीज को लेकर डायरेक्टर विकाश झा और रौशनी झा ने कहा कि अपनी भाषा में कुछ करने का मजा ही अलग होता है, भारत में हर भाषा में वेब सीरीज बन चुकी है, चाहे हिंदी हो या फिर भोजपुरी हो, लेकिन मैथिली के बारे में किसी ने नहीं सोचा होगा. इसलिए हमलोग कुछ अलग लेकर आए है. यह वीडियो मैथिली भाषा में है और डेबेस्ट द्वारा संचालित है.
